Chair-based exercises are a safe and effective way to maintain strength, improve joint mobility, and support cardiovascular fitness, particularly for individuals with reduced mobility or those who prefer seated exercise. During your initial home physiotherapy appointment, Hannah will carry out a comprehensive assessment to understand your current situation and establish your baseline level of fitness, mental wellbeing, and medical history.
She will assess how you move, your current level of function, and how your home environment can support your recovery and rehabilitation. Together, you will set meaningful goals, and Hannah will develop an individualised treatment plan that is both engaging and achievable.
At the end of the session, Hannah will discuss whether any follow-up appointments may be beneficial. There is no obligation to continue treatment, and you are welcome to take your time deciding whether you would like ongoing support or prefer to continue independently.
